Formica® is using ZOW in Bad Salzuflen as a platform to demonstrate its strong presence in the German market.
|
As in previous years Formica – one of the largest global laminate manufacturers – is using ZOW in Bad Salzuflen as a platform to demonstrate its strong presence in the German market. Formica places an emphasis on supplying the furniture industry and caring for its specific needs. In 2005, changes in staff and an improved infrastructure have already built the base for a powerful partnership with the furniture industry.
5 manufacturing facilities in Europe ensure numerous possibilities of product variety and depth. Delivery to specifiers, distributors and fabricators is assured. Customers benefit from short lead times and greater flexibility. Apart from Formica's established products such as HPL and Compact, we now also offer colour-coordinated CPL and MFC.
In addition to the standard sheet sizes, our product portfolio also includes widths of 1630 mm for office applications, 1400 mm for kitchen worktops and sheets in 2350 mm length for doors. These options offer countless possibilities to optimise materials and costs.
Matching surface material in HPL, Compact, CPL and MFC from one source and with one direct point of contact not only ensures colours that match exactly but also paves the way to customized solutions.
The new Formica ® Collection was launched in early 2006. Unique and exclusive textures for plain colours and wood grains plus 90 new decors set a new standard in the business and inspire architects and furniture designers.
‘Naturelle', the new finish for wood grains, provides a matte, velvety feel together with an elegant near-natural structure - the perfect touch for modern straight-grained finishes, such as trendy exotic woods or modern oak. ‘ MicroDot' communicates the fun of combining structure and plain colours. Symmetrically distributed dots disrupt the flatness for a sense of added value. Whether playfully used on loud colours or with a high-tech appeal on black, white or grey – any plain coloured surface can be given that certain something with this exclusive texture.
Discover the new Doors Collection and find the complete Formica plain colour palette, the glamorous mother-of-pearl Glow series plus exciting abstracts and wood grain decors. 180 different colours and designs make it the collection of choice in many interior environments.
Last but not least 2006 is also the year in which the new MFC Collection is being launched. In partnership with Unilin Décor, Formica has developed a market leading MFC range including Formica classics and trendsetting new decors and finishes. It goes without saying that all items are also complimented by matching HPL. Additional innovations and new product lines are on their way.
